Gwyneth Anderson

Gwyneth Anderson is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in hand-drawn animation and video. For some projects, she investigates perception and how to represent an experience; for others, she tries to empathize with objects and places. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has screened and exhibited work nationally and internationally. Her teaching experience includes positions at Lillstreet Art Center, ArtReach, After School Matters at Gallery 37, the Beverley Arts Center, the Elmhurst Art Museum, and Street-Level Youth Media. She teaches because she loves to witness creative growth in others – especially when it takes everyone, even the maker, by surprise.
